helps to make the princess toy box?

I bought the box of Disney Princess toys, things together, but all the gold lock that opens and closes, I'm pretty sure I put it in exactly the way it shows, but I can not clos all the way is open on one foot, no one has experience putting this together is there some trick to it, my husband tryed to the same results, and is the part well, thank you

The latch must have been invested. Out again and see where it closes the latch of 100%. If it is shut the other way, then it will not close, only a 90 degree angle. Then put it on the way to be close to 100%. I hope this suggestion works.
